Home Care Sitter Service

At Advantage, our caregivers have special training in specific disorders such as heart disease, diabetes and COPD. All our caregivers are Certified Nursing Assistants through the Georgia Department of Community Services and are supervised by an RN who manages each patient’s private duty care.

Specialized Sitter Services

Our caregivers have something else: heart. A heart for caring for patients with dementia. A heart for helping people who need sitter services or a little extra care. A heart for families, who are working hard to care for a loved one at home or in a facility.

We build relationships with patients and families, and strive to have the same caregiver work with patients on each visit from Advantage.

Private duty care generally is covered on a private pay basis. Some long-term care plans and veterans benefits may also cover the costs of private duty care. At Advantage, we can assist and explain the costs and payment options.

Personal Care & Companionship

Home health is not just for the elderly or those recovering from surgery or an illness. This is a misconception for many people. You think because the person can get out of bed and do things for themselves that they don’t qualify or need home health assistance. Sometimes you just need an extra person to be there, for the ‘just in case’ moment something happens. Personal care and companionship is about peace of mind, so that you know your loved one is safe and well cared for even when you are not there.

Hospice Care

Hospice Care is an emotional time for many families. It’s not just the client that needs care and consideration at this time, but the family unit as well. Advantage Private Home Care is particularly sensitive to the family’s well being as well as the clients. Our Hospice caregivers have the experience and training to handle their hospice families with sensitivity and care.

Household Care

Everyone wants their loved one living in a clean home, but for many elderly and disabled people maintaining a household can be overwhelming. Basic cleaning like washing dishes or changing the linens on their bed can put your loved one at risk. Advantage Private Home Care Personal Caregivers are trained to do light house keeping chores such as cleaning dishes, vacuuming and laundry to name just a few. Keeping a home clutter free and laundry clean also helps the client to feel better and unencumbered by household chores.

Transportation

Getting your loved one to and from appointments can be disruptive to your workday. For many family caretakers it can cause issues with their employers. Having a reliable way to get your loved one to their medical appointments or just out to do groceries is a burden off your shoulders and peace of mind for the family at large. Keeping your loved one connected and engaged with the community means a better quality of life for them and an ease of mind for you. Our caregivers are trusted escorts and ensure safe travels for your loved ones.
