Daniel Levy, Owner and President
“When you see a family who truly needs assistance because they can no longer do it themselves, but who want to keep their loved one in a home setting, it makes it all worthwhile when they put their trust in us and we deliver the quality of service we promise.”
Daniel Levy’s passion for home care resulted from an injury he sustained at age 19. Inspired by the help he received during his recovery, Levy went to work for a private duty company after graduating from the University of Georgia and never looked back. Since jump-starting his career in the healthcare industry in 2000, Daniel has helped thousands of patient and families through his leadership roles with some of the biggest home health and home care companies in the industry. He was a top sale executive at Maxim Healthcare Services Inc., a $1.2 billion medical staffing, private duty home care and wellness-service company. Most recently, Daniel served as Area Vice President of Business Development for Amedisys Inc., a $1.5 billion home health and hospice care provider. In January 2015, Daniel realized his dream of helping people more directly with the acquisition of his own private duty home care organization, Advantage Private Home Care.
Michael Westbury, Director of Sales and Operations
“Connecting people with the care they need to live as independently as possible is what drives us. Our entire staff is focused on one thing: bringing the right care to every patient and family every time.”
Michael Westbury grew up in the healthcare industry and shares Advantage Private Home Care owner Daniel Levy’s desire to serve those in need. His family owned and operated several long-term care facilities, assisted living facilities, and hospice providers in the state of Georgia for more than 50 years. A Conyers, Georgia, native and graduate of the University of Georgia, Michael’s passion for healthcare led him to a position as a healthcare recruiter working with Daniel Levy at Maxim Healthcare Services in 2011. Michael later served as COO for MGR Home Care, a home medical equipment, respiratory therapy, and catastrophic care provider who cared for homebound patients throughout Georgia and East Alabama. In 2015, Michael and Daniel’s paths crossed again at Advantage Private Home Care, where they share a mission of serving others and providing services tailored to each patient and family’s need.
